As Mia and Liam expertly guide their tandem kayak down the surging Sturgeon River, they spot a majestic wolf that seems to be following them. 

To avoid colliding with a large boulder, Mia cuts the kayak too sharply, and they capsize. The kids are forced to hike alone through the perilous Pigeon River Forest.
